ABOUT US

Tea Gardens BBQ Boats is a local family owned business established in 2019. We are located an easy one hour drive north of Newcastle (New South Wales) and 2.5 hours from Sydney.

We provide you the opportunity to explore the picturesque Myall River at your own pace on our custom designed, pontoon-style BBQ party boats. We also design and manufacture aluminium boats and boat trailers - click on the TGBB Manufacturing tab for more information.

The Saucy Seagull carries up to 12 passengers (1100kg limit). 

The Pickled Pelican carries up to 10 passengers 

(1000kg limit).

All boats have an outdoor kitchen with four burner BBQ grill plate, side burner, rotisserie and sink. A private full size toilet, bluetooth stereo system plus USB & 10 amp/12V power sources are also on board for your use.  

Hire rates include LPG gas bottle, BBQ tools, fuel, water for amenities, chairs, folding table, foil trays, oil, hand sanitiser, cleaning products, toilet paper and garbage bin liners.  BYO food, beverages, esky, ice, towels and fun!   

Please note seafood and nut products can/have been used by patrons on the BBQ plate. 

OFF PEAK SEASON 

1 February to 30 November

We offer Mini (3 hours), Midi (5 hours) and Deluxe (8 hours) hire & drive cruise options. Choose your cruise start time! 

PEAK SEASON 

1 December to 31 January

We offer Half day (4 hours - fixed start times, morning or afternoon) and Full day (8 hours) hire & drive cruise options. 

Boat license is preferred but not required, however previous recreational boating experience is essential. Total price of options below includes the $100 security bond, which is payable upon booking and refundable subject to the Terms and Conditions contained in TGBB's boat hire agreement.

GIFT CERTIFICATES 

Please call or message us to purchase a gift certificate for any value. Gift certificates are valid for three years from the date of purchase and can only be redeemed for the hire fee component of the total price i.e. the security bond is still payable at the time of booking.
